June 2012

Ok so I know it's been awhile since I've wrote on here, but I kind of fell off the bandwagon for a little. I restarted this journey on May 21 with eating clean & logging all of my foods into Myfitnesspal. That has been a great help. The first week it was tough to stick thru it as I didn't lose anything at all, but then I figured out that I actually wasn't eating enough. Last weekend I increased my calories to where I needed to be & so far this week I've managed to lose 1.2 lbs so far but official weigh in day isn't until Monday & I've also lost 2" in my waist. Can't wait to see how my other measurements measure up! :-). I've also started the C25K workouts & I've registered for my 1st 5K- The Color Run in DC on 10/21!! This gives me something to look forward to & encourage me to complete my workout to be able to run it!! I've also broke down & ordered P90X! I think I may be crazy right now, but I'm determined to push thru & finish it & for my treat of finishing it, I've registered for my 1st 5K obstacle course race- Run for Your Lives on 10/27!! :-) go me!! Lol. Next on my list of goals is one my friend Angie came up with & we are calling it "Run to the Shore for Summer" & with that we need to run/walk 140 miles between 6/1-9/22- the 1st day of fall. That distance is the distance from Ft. Meade, MD to Assateague Island at the shore. So far I'm already 5.7 miles done in 2 days!! Then another goal I've gone ahead & set for myself for the month of June & that's to complete all 3 goals on my bodybugg everyday before I can go to bed. The daily goals set on my bodybugg are to burn at least 2600 calories, 1 hr of activity, & 10,000 steps!! :-). The month of June is going to fly by!! Lol or walk/run by before I know it. Lol. I've also gone ahead & joined a 10 day shakeology challenge start on Mon the 4th, so we'll see how that goes also!! So here goes nothing to get June rolling!!
